iam in the film industry and sciences a lot or google search my name when iam doing youtube my channel my trolls stalkers redo my videos
with there own information this is a gruop of dedicated trolls who for years have been doing this they even break into my email account or put up websites in my na,me and take thousands of dollars i posted there info online waiting on the edge of forever , they also break into you tube and upload copynrighted materiels and break into myspaces and try to intimidate my friends a horror story of mine
i wanted to share with you folks so how bad does it get ? i post there info on the net and blogger thanks cheers john yes i reported to every known gruop agency police but nothing

You don't have to DO anything other than be somebody. I am a somebody in my industry and I often come across completely false information posted about my industry (not necessarily about our company or me) and when I correct that information it sets off the trolls and stalkers.

So yes that is somewhat doing something but other times I have been attacked completely out of the blue with no rhyme or reason.

And yes the absolute worst thing one can do is rise to the bait.

Recently I have found a way to deal with the stalker/slanderer that is having a little effect. If they let their identity be known then I will go after them in their community.

Once such stalker raised "questions" about the legal status of my business and so I investigated his and found that he is operating illegally from home. Reported him to the authorities and haven't been bothered since. (fingers crossed).

Another one has engaged in constant harassment for several years. Finally in exasperation I took his picture and made a bunch of troll badges to respond with instead of answering with paragraphs.

Since doing that I have thankfully not been harassed on the forums by him. But now he is threatening to beat me up if I don't remove the pictures from "the internet" - too late they are already out there. I told him, do the crime then do the time.

It's the anonymous ones who are hardest to combat. Those are the ones that you have to put on ignore and hope for the best.

I've removed the picture from your post; while you are welcome here, and I hope you'll feel that way, it's not good manners to bring your personal battles into my front room.

Dunno about famous, but if you have any sort of "profile" on a site you will be noticed, & some people, usually the inadequate one's with little to say themselves, take a dislike to you because they are jealous maybe? I am quite happy to have a go back at them, but the trouble is it seems "they" can usually say what they want whereas "we" can't. Admin should ban those who START trouble & only go on sites looking for it.

Of course they should - but that isn't always easy. Some trouble makers - especially those who have followed the neon trail of their target - are very good at getting under the target's skin with comments that look quite innocent to an outsider; it's the target's reaction that wakes up the Admin!

I'm all for good old fashioned justice, but if you use forums, you need to try and see things from the Admin's POVB; they just want a successful forum, they don't want trouble. Most forums don't have 24 hour cover; many admin have busy lives and may look in to find World War III going on - you can't blame them for banning all those who appear to be involved. Their loyalty is to the silent majority, not to mention their lurkers.

The trick is simple; don't rise to the bait; let the troll be seen to be unreasonable.
